Food 4 Thought - Alimento para Pensar brings together specialists from six countries from April 2 to 4. The program includes documentaries, exhibitions, visits, water tastings, and gastronomic experiences.

Registration is now open for the ‘Food 4 Thouhgt’ international conference, which will bring together representatives of UNESCO creative cities from around the world, the scientific community, nutritionists, chefs, teachers, students and the local community for an intense debate on gastronomy and sustainable consumption at the Santa Maria da Feira Municipal Library between 2 and 4 April next year. At the same time, there is a submission period for scientific posters. 

The genuine Fogaça da Feira was presented and tasted in Japan, at a gastronomic festival that brought together eight other countries: Brazil, Norway, Portugal, Mexico, the Philippines, China, Benin and the United States.

The Municipality of Santa Maria da Feira presented, on 12 May, in Thailand, the themes and central objectives of the international conference “Food 4 Thought”, to be held in Feira between  2 and 4 April, 2025. This scientific meeting, which will bring together around 200 participants from all over the world at the municipal library, was presented by Gil Ferreira, councillor for Culture, Education, Youth and Tourism, as part of the annual UNESCO Creative Cities of Gastronomy conference, which took place in the Thai city of Phuket.
